The foundation of Patco Custom Labels dates as far back as 1967 when Dick and Dave Patton started Patco, Inc. in Durham, North Carolina. As a family-oriented business, Patco quickly became a key partner for manufacturers throughout the state.
Providing custom printed labels, packaging tapes, polyethylene bags, and a whole lot more, Patco sustained success well into the 21st century. Much of this success was due to a commitment to personal customer service.
After working in the family business for many years, Brett and Evelyn Patton formed Patco East, Inc. in 2000. The newly established location in historic Wake Forest helped better serve the customer base in eastern North Carolina.
Patco East continued the philosophy of customer commitment by providing quality products, expert knowledge, and personal customer service. During the .com revolution of the early 2000s, Patco East also built a national online identity with the creation of Labelbrokers.com. As a pioneer in the online custom printed label market, Labelbrokers quickly established a strong foothold by continuing its customer-first approach.
In order to better position itself in the custom printed label industry, Patco East/Labelbrokers evolved into Patco Custom Labels. Operations and procedures were streamlined allowing for significant reductions in operating costs.
Leveraging long-standing relationships with established printing partners, labels are shipped directly from the manufacturer to the customer. Not only does the customer benefit from industry-leading turnaround times, but also enjoy reduced production costs as well.
Patco Custom Labels proudly serves all industries in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and beyond. While the Patco name has evolved over 2 generations, the commitment to providing quality products, expert knowledge, and personal customer service remains.
